Quinton de Kock Run-Out Chance: After a fantastic victory in their last match, Mumbai Indians (MI) are now up against their arch-rivals the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The two of the biggest teams in this competition who share a total of eight trophies amongst them and thus, this rivalry is also famously called the ‘El Classico’ of IPL.

After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, Chennai Super Kings got off to a poor start as they lost the wicket of their in-form opener Ruturaj Gaikwad in just the first over of the game. However, the duo of Moeen Ali and Faf du Plessis brought back their team in the game with sensational power-hitting prowess. Moeen was playing the attacking role smashing the MI bowlers all over the park and also got to his first fifty of the tournament. But in a very fascinating incident, MI wicket-keeper Quinton de Kock missed a huge run-out opportunity as he failed to collect the ball cleanly to dismiss Faf du Plessis during the 10th over.

MI vs CSK IPL 2021 Match 27:
Moeen set the momentum with a brilliant knock of 58 runs off 36 balls that included 5 sixes and as many fours while Faf du Plessis also played an excellent innings of 50 runs off 28 balls. However, Mumbai came back strongly with three quick wickets with Kieron Pollard removing the duo of du Plessis and Suresh Raina off consecutive deliveries. But then Ambati Rayudu once again brought another staggering twist in the game by playing an incredible unbeaten knock of 72 runs off just 27 balls that consisted of 7 sixes and 4 fours that powered CSK to a massive total of 218 for 4 in their 20 overs. It was a disappointing day for the Mumbai Indians’ bowlers as most of them conceded a lot of run especially with Jasprit Bumrah recording his most expensive figures in the IPL history of 1 for 56 in his four overs.
