Indian Test captain Virat Kohli has affirmed once more that there’s no any issue between him and new ODI and T20I captain Rohit Sharma. There had been rumoured reports of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma not wanting to play under each other’s captaincy.
“There is no problem between me and Rohit Sharma – I have been clarifying for the last 2.5 years – I am literally tired. India will miss the experience of Rohit Sharma in the Test series, wish him a speedy recovery,” Kohli said during the presser on the eve of the Indian team’s departure for the South Africa series.
Virat Kohli Lauds Rohit Sharma’s Captaincy, Calls Him Tactically Sound
Kohli was appreciative of Rohit Sharma’s captaincy skills and said: “Rohit Sharma is a very good captain, he is tactically sound – we have seen in IPL and for India. My responsibility is to push the team in the right direction, along with Rahul Bhai and Rohit, both of them will have my full support moving forward”.
Rohit has also led Mumbai Indians (MI) to five IPL titles since 2013 and many hope that he’ll end India’s drought for an ICC trophy.
