KL Rahul’s “Unbelievable” Boundary Save in IND vs ENG 1st T20I-Watch
IND vs ENG 1st T20I: The first T20I between India and England is underway at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While there’s nothing much in the game for the Indian fans to cheer up as England is off to a brilliant start, an unbelievable fielding effort by KL Rahul has sent people in frenzy.
A brilliant effort from KL Rahul
The incident happened in the fifth over of England’s innings when Joss Buttler came down the pitch against Axar Patel and played a lofted drive. While Buttler didn’t get close to the ball, it went very high into the night sky towards KL Rahul on long-off. Rahul was right in front of the ropes, dived backwards and plucked the catch and then released it as he was landing way over the ropes. This unbelievable athleticism saved four runs to India.

Put into bat, India crashed to a poor start losing the top 3 batsmen with just 20 runs on the board. KL Rahul went cheaply for 1 run, Virat Kohli added to his collection of ducks while S Dhawan threw away his wicket when it was needed the most. Riding on Shreyas Iyer’s 67, who assessed the conditions pretty well, India managed to post a decent total of 124-7 at the end of 20 overs.
In reply, the visitors were off to a brilliant start as both the openers Jason Roy and Joss Buttler managed 50 runs partnership for the first wicket and have laid the foundation for a comprehensive win.
