Virat Kohli was fuming at Virender Sharma, the on-field umpire in the Eliminator versus KKR, after he had given three incorrect decisions against RCB. All three of those decisions were overturned by RCB with the DRS coming to their aid.
For the third wrong call, Sharma gave Rahul Tripathi not out when he was hit on the pads by Yuzvendra Chahal. Virat Kohli decided to make usage of the review and it was a successful one as hawk-eye showed the ball to be hitting the stumps.
Sharma was asked by the third umpire to overturn his decision from out to not out. After celebrating the wicket, Virat Kohli went close to the umpire and vented out his feelings. He was, as usual, animated with his actions, indicating that Sharma had made three blunders and there was still more than 10 overs to go in KKR’s innings.
