Moreover, he also emphasized that he would support Patidar all out in the upcoming IPL 2025. Besides, he also hoped that other teammates of Royal Challengers Bengaluru would back him to lead the side efficiently and with a great deal of planning in his new role.
“Rajat, I want to congratulate you, on the way you have grown in this franchise, you have made a place in the hearts of fans of RCB all over India. This is very well deserved, I tell you that myself and the other team members will be right behind you. Show him absolute support, get right behind him, he will always do what’s best for the team, best for the franchise,” Kohli said on the RCB podcast.
“I’m not someone who holds onto things more than I should. Even if I know I can do a lot more, if I’m not going to enjoy the process, I’m not going to do it. I wanted some space and I wanted to manage my workload and the story ends there,” the former RCB captain concluded.
