The Inaugural Edition of UAE T20 League is set to start from January 2023.
UAE Cricket Board on June 6 Confirmed that the League will be called International League T20 (ILT20) and will played in the Window Between January 6 to February 12th.
There are Famous Names or Companies who are part of this T20 League:
• Reliance Industries Ltd (Owners of Mumbai Indians)
• GMR Group (Co-owner of Delhi Capitals)
• The Knight Riders Franchise Owners.
• Capri Global.
• Lancer Capital (Owners of Manchester United Football Club.)
• Adani Sportsline by Adani Group.
The IPL Owners who are Included in the League have rights to buy four Players from their IPL Squad (except Indians)
The League is set to clash with Big Bash League, Bangladesh Premier League and also a Newly Announced South Africa T20 Competition.
The ILT20 will be a Six Team Competition and there will 34 Matches with each team playing other the twice, followed by four playoff games.
