CSK’s batting fell like a house of cards at times last season during a campaign which is the worst for the three-time IPL champions in the IPL history so far. He is the glue, together with captain fantastic MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja, who holds the team together. And it showed in the CSK vs DC match, where he looked like as if the was never out of the game, as if he is still playing at his prime.
Raina made a 50 in his first IPL match in two years. And you can say, from watching his celebration, that the Uttar Pradesh cricketer has been whole-heartedly waiting for this moment.
