A Franchise Owned by Sunrisers Hyderabad ” Sunrisers Eastern Cape” signed South African Batter Aiden Markram and Uncapped Medium Pacer Ottneil Baartman for Inaugural edition of CSK T20 League.
The League will start from January 2023.

Aiden Markram also played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2022 Indian Premier League. After scoring 381 runs at an average of 47.63 in 14 games. He scored 3 half centuries and his highest score is 68*.
Sunrisers Hyderabad owned a Franchise in CSA T20 League alongside other five franchise are aslo owned by IPL Owners.
Mumbai Indians owned ‘MI Capetown’ Chennai Super Kings owned Johannesburg Franchise, Rajasthan Royals owned Paarl Royals, RPSG Group owned Durban based Franchise and Delhi Capitals owned Pretoria Capitals.
Former South African Captain Greame Smith is appointed as league Commissioner.
The six teams are allowed to sign 5 Players including one South African Capped Player and one Uncapped and also they can sign three overseas Players where two from same country.
There will be 17 Players squad and each team will have 7 overseas Players in the Team.
There will be lot of International playees signed by Franchise and some of the Big named are also expected to come in the auction.
The Auction for the League is likely to held on 20th September.
