ENG vs SA: Officials have confirmed that South Africa all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo will miss the last two games of the One-Day International series against England due to suffering from Concussion in the First ODI against England.
In South Africa’s 62-run victory at Chester-le-Street, Phehlukwayo collided with skipper Keshav Maharaj in the field. As his head met the latter’s shoulder, resulting in a gash on the jaw and a concussion.
Dwaine Pretorius comes as his Concussion replacement in the first ODI and He Bowled 3 Overs and Conceded 26 Runs without taking any wicket. Pretorius is likely to replace him in the Playing XI for the Second ODI.
After ODI series there is also three match T20I series which will start from 27 July. Andile Phehlukwayo is likely to make his comeback in the series if he will be fit before the series.
The final two ODIs will take place on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
