Former Pakistan skipper Salman Butt has made a huge statement on Indian cricketing setup and he said that Pakistan should learn form Team India management how to pick a team especially in T20Is where the selectors and team management does lot of experimentations in the last 15 months as a result of which it did not give them much trouble in finalizing their 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2022.

“Apparently, there are more benefits to it. India is one of the biggest economies, it’s one of the biggest markets. Anything sells when your consumers are large in numbers. Aap dekhe na, flop movies me bhi kisi ko nuksaan nahi hota India me, kyunki itni dafa dekhe jaate hain, itne numbers hain logon ke (Even people associated with flop movies in India do not bear a loss because of the sheer number of times they are watched),” said Salman Butt while answering a fan’s question during a YouTube session.
“Practically speaking, it’s an asset. It is a good headache if there is any confusion in your selection. You have three teams- One plays Tests while the others play ODIs and T20Is and on top of that, you have the ‘A’ team playing as well. This is a blessing,” he said.
“Even we can have such numbers. However, in the last two years, there has neither been an ‘A’ tour nor an U19 tour”, the former Pakistan skipper added.
