BCCI has Confirmed that Indian All Format Skipper Rohit Sharma Ruled out of 5th Test. Earlier Rohit Sharma tested Positive for COVID19 on June 25th. He hasn’t recover from Covid on time which makes him ruled out from all important 5th Test.
BCCI has Confirmed that Jasprit Bumrah will lead Team India in absence of Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant will be his deputy for 5th Test vs England.
Jasprit Bumrah will become 36th Captain to Lead Team India in Tests and will be First Fast Bowler in 35 years after Kapil Dev to lead Team India in Test Cricket.
Bumrah had previously been in contention for Captaincy after Virat Kohli step down as Skipper.
Bumrah Said after Virat Kohli Step Down as Skipper during ODI series against South Africa:
