Shivam Dube and Riyan Parag counter attacked and their 66 runs partnership brought team back in the match. In the end Tewatia too played some big shots and thus Dube’s 46, Tewatia’s 40 and Parag’s 25 helped Rajasthan Royals to finish on 177/9 in 20 overs.
In reply Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal gave a good start to their team as the left hand opener took full advantage of power play and smashed all Rajasthan bowlers and these two kept scoring runs for fun and eventually in the 17th over they scored the winning run and thus helped their team to secure a record 10 wickets win. Padikkal played a brilliant knock of 101* runs while Kohli remained not out on 71.
