The Governing Council of the Pakistan Super League met at the National High Performance Centre in Lahore on 2nd September. All six PSL franchises owners were represented along with Pakistan Cricket Board officials who are members of the Governing Council.
Ramiz Raza who is Chairman of PCB chaired the meeting.

Pakistan Super League season 7 is the first ever edition which is hosted in Pakistan without any interruption since 2016.
This the the successful Edition ever in terms of Viewership in PSL History, which is played at Lahore and Karachi.
Some important discussions around the scheduling for the next edition of the PSL are taken in the meeting.
The Decision has taken that the PSL 8 will start from 9 February to 19 March 2023.
Four venues will be used for hosting the tournament, including Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Multan.
The franchises also given an update on the status of accounts for PSL 7.
