Disappointed with the start, that’s stating the obvious. There was nice pace, Lungi bowled beautifully. The score was way way below-par. Assessing the wicket is very important. We have give ourselves a little more time to get our innings going. There were a few soft dismissals today. Malan needs an opening spot more than I needed.

Coming back from the loss, it wasn’t a great start. The guys executed whatever they needed to do today. Getting off to a great start in the powerplay is always great as a captain. You feel like you are ahead in the game. Getting the bonus point, very happy with that. I tried to create pressure and keep the momentum going. It’s about trusting your instincts, the bowlers helped me out today. We didn’t discuss anything (on how to chase). The guys that we’ve chosen know their roles.

Pretty special. Our last game wasn’t ideal. We knew we had to bounce back and we did that nicely today. It’s high risk, high reward. You get smashed around but it does present opportunity to pick wickets. The conditions play well to our hands here. We made good use of it today.
