MI Spent INR 23 crore on the duo of Ishan Kishan and Jofra Archer during IPL 2022 Mega Auction
Despite losing their all matches so far, Mumbai Indians’ director of cricket operations Zaheer Khan has supported his franchise Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 auction technique.
Speaking in a press conference, Zaheer opined that nobody would have asked about the Jofra Archer situation if MI were having a good season. He also expressed his thoughts saying that the franchise will never pin the blame on an individual and will back every individual till the end of IPL 2022.
“I am not going to start doubting any individual. I will back them through and through and you will see that in this season as well,” Zaheer said during the conference.
The five-time champions had to face a biting defeat at the hands of the defending champions CSK and they will next take on the Lucknow Super Giants in their another clash of IPL 2022, which can be played at the famous Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on April 24 (Sunday). MI captain Rohit Sharma has too failed to perform with the bat and would need to provide a great begin for his team during the upcoming fixture.
