“Melbourne at this time of the year – it’s difficult to predict the weather. Whether or not you say it to ICC or Cricket Australia to move up games away from MCG. It’s not something that the players want either. They want to play at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. It’s an amazing stadium to play in and particularly when you get a big crowd, the atmosphere is unbelievable. So, to take it away from the MCG may be a bad call but there are couple of other venues that could be easy,” said Law on changing MCC as a venue in the ongoing T20 World Cup at ‘BatBricks7 presents Run Ki Runneeti show on CricTracker.’
Justice was done by both teams getting a point each: Farokh Engineer on Australia vs England washed out game
“Even if they had a five-over contest, that isn’t a game of cricket. It’s just pure brute slogging. That would have been further injustice to one of the top teams going off.
