Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling impressed everyone as he made an impactful entry with the Delhi Boys. Yadav, who is playing for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022, broke the Mumbai Indians’ opening partnership between Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan. In his first over for DC, he dismissed Rohit Sharma and gave his team the breakthrough that they were frantically yearning for.
When the spinner came in to bowl his second over, he included another wicket to his scalp when he dismissed Anmolpreet Singh for 8 (9). He turned the game a bit for the Delhi Capitals as Ishan Kishan did not take off any opportunity to hit the ball. In his last over of the game, Yadav sent the perilous Kieron Pollard, on his way. Tim Seifert’s staggering catch at the mid-wicket to dismiss Pollard was something to watch for.
The three powerful players who could have created destruction for Mumbai couldn’t face Kuldeep and had to thus give away on their game. The chinaman bowler finished his spell by taking three wickets and giving away just 18 runs in four overs, which included eight dot balls at an economy of 4.50.
Speaking of the match, Delhi won the toss and opted to bowl to begin with. Mumbai Indians finished the first innings scoring 177/5, and Ishan Kishan was the most excellent player for his side in the first half whereas Kuldeep Yadav shone brightly for his team.
