Gujarat Titans beat Punjab Kings by 6 wickets in what turned out to be the best match of the tournament so far. Rahul Tewatia hit two consecutive sixes off the last two balls to win the game for his team when his team needed 12 runs off 2 balls.
This was not the first time Tewatia took a Punjab Kings bowler to the cleaners as he had done the same to Sheldon Cottrel in that celebrated game in Sharjah playing for Rajasthan Royals at that time.
Gujarat Titans did not have the greatest of begins to their chase as they lost Matthew Wade early in their chase, but at that point Sai Sudharsan and Gill had a brilliant partnership within the middle. Sudarshan got out when GT required 57 runs off 32 balls.
