The India U19 team, who scripted history by winning the Under-19 World Cup in West Indies, were spotted in the stands at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad during the second IND vs WI One Day International. Former Indian Off-spinner Murali Karthik, on-air said that the Under-19 stars were invited by the Gujarat Cricket Association as their special guests.
Special arrangements were made for the youngsters so that they could witness their idols in action in the ongoing ODI series. India won the recently concluded Under-19 World Cup defeating England in the final.

The Youngsters did not have much time to celebrate in the Caribbean as they had to take a long flight home with connecting flights at Amsterdam and Bangalore before reaching Ahmedabad. Given how hectic it has been for the youngsters, their interaction with the seniors after the ODI does not seem likely. A BCCI official said:
“It has been a hectic schedule for the boys who have little time to rest. They will get some rest after they land in India.”
