Openers Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal were able to add only 9 runs in the first innings but in the second innings, they managed to have a 42-run stand off 64 balls before the latter was dismissed by Lasith Embuldeniya in the 11th over.
Rohit Sharma and Hanuma Vihari batted exceptionally well against Sri Lanka bowlers and included great 56 runs together off 119 balls. India captain Rohit was terrible as he fell fair 4 runs brief of a half-century as he was dismissed by Dhananjaya de Silva at the score of 46 runs.
