Indian keeper-batter KL Rahul opened up about how he deals with social media hatred. The Karnataka batter admitted that the trolls that he faces are not easy to deal with and added that he lets his bat reply to all of the hatred.
KL Rahul few months ago was one of the most hated cricketers in India. The keeper-batter faced a lot of criticism for his poor show with the bat and also a lot of blame was on him for Team India’s losses in big games.
During the press conference after Day 2 of the ongoing Test, KL Rahul was asked how he deals with so much social media hatred. Replying to this, he said: “it is not easy.”
KL Rahul was then asked if he felt like sometimes expressing himself on social media?; to which he said: “I let my bat do all the talking.”

After KL Rahul slammed a sensational ton, Sunil Gavaskar lavished rich praise on the Indian keeper-batter. He said that the knock of the Karnataka batter was in the top 10 of India’s Test history.
Reacting to that, KL Rahul said that said that he is humbled to hear the praise of Sunil Gavaskar. He highlighted that he knew that he had to bat with the tailenders and the pitch was difficult. He explained:
“I am quite humbled to hear this. Today and yesterday I knew I had to bat with the lower batsmen. It was difficult to bat here. There was cover on the pitch for a long time. There was damp in it. It was enough for the bowlers. I wasn’t doing this for the first time.”
