Surya’s 117 in vain, England win by 17 runs. Suryakumar Yadav gave a 360-degree masterclass en route to a special hundred but England pulled off a consolatory 17-run win over India in the third T20 International here on Sunday.
Dawid Malan made a sublime 77 off 39 balls as England put India’s second-string attack to the sword to finish with a mammoth 215 for seven.

the English bowlers started on a great note as well and removed India’s top three for only 31 runs on the board in the first five overs. It was after that the Surya storm started to develop and threatened to take the game away from the hosts. He added 119 for the fourth wicket along with Shreyas Iyer. But once Iyer goit out, wickets fell regularly and Surya, after reaching his maiden hundred, was tasked to get 41 off the last two overs with Harshal Patel to support him.
