Yashasvi Jaiswal is one of the most talented young cricketers in the Indian circuit at the moment. He has been a force to reckon with in domestic competitions. In 15 first-class games, the left-handed batter has scored 1845 runs at a staggering average of 80.21. In List A cricket, he has notched up 1511 runs from 32 matches at an average of 53.96.
“Now what is the use of talking about things that have already happened,” Jaiswal said on The Lallantop when asked about the incident. “Aggression is important and I am aggressive mentally. Sometimes that comes out I guess. But I hadn’t said anything big at the time but it’s ok, things happen. What is the use of talking about it then. I don’t want to say anything. I would rather keep it with me, absorb it like a sponge. When I need to squeeze it, I will,” Jaiswal said on The Lallantop.
When asked if some players don’t get sledged, this is what the 21-year-old had to say:
“Who says that, it happens to everyone. No one really comes to know about it. It depends upon who is saying what. Bhai mereko koi mere maa behen ke baare me bolega, thodi sununga (If someone says things about my mother or my sister, I won’t tolerate it),” he said.
