Team India have made a sensational comeback in their ongoing T20I series against the West Indies. Led by Hardik Pandya, the side lost the first two games of the series, and they were reeling behind, but the visitors clawed back into the series by winning the third and fourth games.
In the same vein, the former Indian cricketer RP Singh came forward to heap praise on Arshdeep Singh’s performance in the fourth T20I of the ongoing series. Singh opined that the youngster has learnt the art of bowling according to the playing conditions by adapting to it very quickly.
“Arshdeep has a speciality. I feel while playing he has learned how to bowl based on the conditions. The options or weapons you have in your arsenal – he bowls a good yorker, he also bowls a good knuckle slower ball as well,” RP Singh said during a discussion on JioCinema.
“Bowling that ball is slightly tough because it won’t fall at the right length unless you hit the pitch. Bowling the knuckleball at the right length is in itself a challenge. So his skill has gone up and his game-reading sense was also good,” Singh stated.
