Team India Head Coach Rahul Dravid is now fully recovered from Covid 19 and joined Team India in Dubai ahead of Big Clash against Pakistan in Asia Cup 2022.
Rahul Dravid Tested Positive in the routine COVID 19 Test when team India left for UAE ahead of the Tournament, is now fully recovered.
After Testing Positive for COVID 19 Rahul Dravid didn’t travel with the Team for Asia Cup and BCCI named NCA head VVS Laxman as interim coach for Team India.
Rahul Dravid was in home isolation since he Tested Positive for COVID 19 on 23 August.
Now Rahul Dravid Tested negative so BCCI sent VVS Laxman back to India and Dravid will be taking the charge ahead of Big Clash against Arch Rivals Pakistan on Sunday at Dubai International Stadium.
Earlier, BCCI secretary Jay Shah released a statement where he stated that the Indian head coach had mild symptoms.
“Team India Head Coach Rahul Dravid has tested positive for COVID-19 in a routine test conducted ahead of the team’s departure to the UAE for T20 Asia Cup.
“Dravid is under the supervision of the BCCI Medical team and has mild symptoms. He will join the team once he returns with a negative COVID-19 report,” Shah had said in a release.
