England Test skipper Ben Stokes has praised emerging cricketer Harry Brook, saying that the middle-order sensation will give selectors migraines going forward.
Harry Brook has shown the world what he is all about: Ben Stokes
“It is exactly what you want when you’re picking a team. You want to have decisions that are hard. Who to pick? You know. You much rather be in that situation than not. But Brooky has been outstanding this series. The way which he has played, the way he has taken the game on and the amount of runs he has scored,” said Ben Stokes while addressing the media after the conclusion of the Pakistan Test series.
“The strike-rate that he has scored at is incredible to watch. He is a very switched on man with the bat. The end of this year, obviously finished off a great summer for England. To think about all the runs he has scored for Yorkshire and to get into the team at the back end due to an unfortunate injury to Jonny (Bairstow). To come out here and play in the way he has done and show the world what he is all about is good for us going forward. He will be giving the selectors a migraine. Me and Baz a migraine as well. He has been awesome,” he added.
Harry Brook scored 3 Centuries in All three Test Matches against Pakistan and also won player of the series.
