India medium Pacer Harshal Patel will miss the second and third T20I against the West Indies due to a rib injury, the BCCI announced on 1st August.
“Harshal Patel has a rib injury and is unavailable for selection for the 2nd and 3rd T20I. He is being monitored by the BCCI medical team,” BCCI tweeted after the toss of the second ODI in Saint Kitts.
The First game was played on 29th July in Trinidad without Harshal Patel and then in second T20I which is delayed to due to arrival in luggage on 1st August where Harshal Patel again Misses out the selection and Avesh Khan gets a chance in place Bishnoi.
Harshal Patel will be monitoring by BCCI and Management will give further update regarding to his fitness before 4th T20I which is scheduled to play on 6th August.
India lost the second T20I by 5 wickets as Avesh Khan is unable to defend 10 Runs in the Last over.
The series is standing at 1-1. Third T20I will be played on 2nd August.
