Glenn Phillips is one of the new recruits of SRH for IPL 2022.
After a demoralizing 61-run defeat at the hands of Rajasthan Royals in their campaign opener, Sunrisers Hyderabad would be hoping to make a strong comeback when they face Lucknow Super Giants in their next IPL 2022 encounter at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on April 4.
Taking to the micro-blogging site, the 2016 champions posted a video of Glenn Phillips making it to the SRH squad fair in time, some time recently their vital clash against LSG. Within the video, the 25-year-old can be seen getting a charge out of a game of table tennis.
“Hey SunRisers fans, it’s really good to be here with the SunRisers team this year. I am really excited to get there with the guys and entertain you all”, said Phillips.
“Obviously a little bit of a setback missing the first game and unfortunately had to quarantine here for a little while, but we’re here and ready to go”, he added.

Glenn Phillips is available for selection in SRH’s next game and if all is well, the New Zealander could find a place in the playing XI of the 2016 winners. The South Africa-born cricketer was roped in for his base price of INR 1.50 crore at the IPL 2022 mega auction. He has arrived late but has completed his mandatory quarantine.
