From sacking David Warner as captain to axing him the squad, things turned from bad to worse.

They barely made a telling affect on the field as they managed to win as it were three games. SRH misplaced as numerous as eleven games, in what was the most noticeably awful campaign in their history.
SRH revamped their entire squad as they roped in some good players to strengthen their base for this season. One of the players they signed in Glenn Phillips at the mega auction.
For the unversed, he is a New Zealand wicketkeeper-batsman who is known for his ability to smash sixes. His big-hitting skills drew the attention of SRH management and as a result, they decided to sign him.
The 25-year-old will only join the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad once he recovers. “For those who keep asking – I am stuck in New Zealand due to a positive PCR travel test. I will be joining SRH as soon as I can,” he wrote.
Phillips is expected to play a big part for SRH when he joins the team. “Being in the gym has had a lot to do with it [six-hitting]. I’ve definitely put on some weight and started throwing a bit more tin around. At one stage I was sort of doing 800 [press-ups] a day over three sets. I’d do a set of 300, then 300, and 200,” he once said during a virtual media interaction.
