The management of Punjab Kings has named Mayank Agarwal as the team’s captain ahead of the IPL 2022 season. Between 2018 and 2021, he and KL Rahul were two of the team’s biggest run scorers. In the last two seasons, he has scored 400 or more runs for Punjab. Shikhar Dhawan will be his new opening partner this year.
