One of the most popular franchises in the Indian Premier League is the Royal Challengers Bangalore and they have a huge fan following. They are yet to win an IPL trophy but despite they have great fan following.
They spent a total of INR 55.45 Crores in the mega auction last year while retaining Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and Mohammad Siraj for a total of INR 33 Crores ahead of the auction.
RCB Finished as 3rd in Last year’s Edition where they lost in the Qualifier 2 against Last year’s Runner up Rajasthan Royals.
Ahead of the mini-auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore traded Australian left-arm seamer Jason Behrendorff to Mumbai Indians. Behrendorff was bought by the RCB franchise for INR 75 Lakhs but he did not play a single game in the previous edition. He has joined his previous franchise Mumbai Indians now for IPL 2023.
