Former Indian batter Wasim Jaffer has said that Temba Bavuma needs to come good with the bat in T20 World Cup.

“If Temba Bavuma wasn’t the captain of South Africa then he wouldn’t have been in the team, because there’s Reeza Hendricks who is sitting outside, he has been in good form. Bavuma is obviously playing because he is the captain and he needs to come good,” Wasim Jaffer on ‘BatBricks7 presents Run Ki Runneeti’ on CricTracker.
“Happy with the start, at the end, may be too many boundaries at the back-end. I thought the wicket got better with rain coming, it didn’t get flatter, but the ball skidded a lot more. They (Ifthikhar and Shadab) kept on coming at us the whole time, it was a good test for us. I’m sure we can chase this score down,” Nortje said during the mid-innings break.
