India’s premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has received an injury scare after he twisted his ankle while bowling in the first Test against South Africa at Centurion.
Bumrah delivered the ball and just in his follow-through, twisted his ankle on the side of the wicket. The speedster couldn’t complete his over and had to be taken off the field after receiving some treatment from the physio. Mohammed Siraj had to complete the final delivery of his over.

M. Siraj came in to bowl for the injured Bumrah and hasn’t let the Proteas batsmen settle. After picking up the wicket of Rassie van der Dussen, he almost picked up Quinton de Kock off the very next ball. India are firmly on top of South Africa and the hosts will need to bat out of their skins to stage a comeback in this Test.
