According to the reports, opening batter Ruturaj Gaikwad and all-rounder, Venkatesh Iyer are being considered for the upcoming One Day Internationals (ODI) series in South Africa as there has been a massive dip in the form of senior opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan.
The BCCI senior selection committee has appointed opening batsman Rohit Sharma as the new One Day Internationals and T20 Internationals captain of the India National Cricket Team. Also, Rohit has replaced Ajinkya Rahane as Virat Kohli’s deputy in the Test cricket.
