KL Rahul finally showed glimpses of his class as he smashed 74 off 55 balls against Western Australia in India’s second warm-up match at Perth.
Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra feels that Team India’s Vice Captain KL Rahul will be top run-scorer for Team India in Upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.
Aakash Chopra stated that the conditions in Australia will suit his playing style as Rahul is someone who can take the game deep.
KL Rahul has scored 2137 in 66 T20 internationals with Strike rate of 140.
“KL Rahul could be the top run-scorer for India at the T20 World Cup 2022. He has an opportunity to bat all 20 overs, and he also has the game to bat till the end. These pitches will suit him a lot as the ball will come nicely onto the bat,” Chopra said on his YouTube channel.

With Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of the tournament because of a back injury, Chopra feels that Young Sensation Arshdeep Singh will start for Team India with New Ball
“I believe it would be Arshdeep Singh. He is going to bowl with the new ball, and also in the death overs. It is also a possibility that he might be given the ball during the middle overs as well. He will like the pitches and the big grounds in Australia,” said the former cricketer.
