Scotland named their 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, which will start on October 16 in Australia.
Richie Berrington will lead the team as their long-serving captain, Kyle Coetzer, retired from all forms of cricket in July.
Head coach of the side, Shane Burger, said that he was looking forward to seeing those players who are not part of the World Cup challenging for “international honours” in the future. “For those players who are not going to the world cup, we look forward to seeing them challenging for international honours in years to come,” Burger was quoted as saying in India Today.
