Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Vishwanathan expressed respect for the former CSK and Indian Player l Suresh Raina’s decision and gave him best wishes for the future after Raina announced his retirement from “all formats of cricket”.
“Suresh Raina told us two days back about his decision that he is leaving IPL. And we respect his decision and wish him luck. He is an integral part of CSK ever as he has done a lot for CSK till ten years, wish him luck for future,” Kasi Vishwanathan, CEO of Chennai Super Kings told ANI.
Suresh Raina retired from International Cricket on August 15, 2020.
Suresh Raina is a crucial Memeber of Chennai Super Kings and he played huge role in Four Time IPL Champions CSK.
Suresh Raina also a member of 2011 World’Cup Winning Team under Ms Dhoni.
Taking to Twitter to announce his retirement, Raina Tweeted, “It has been an absolute honour to represent my country & state UP. I would like to announce my retirement from all formats of Cricket. I would like to thank @BCCI, @UPCACricket, @ChennaiIPL, @ShuklaRajiv sir & all my fans for their support and unwavering faith in my abilities.”
In his 13-year international career, Raina played for India in 226 ODIs, 18 Tests, and 78 T20 Internationals.
Raina scored 5615 Runs in 226 ODIs, He scored 1605 T20I runs in 78 games for India.
He is the first Indian to score hundred in all three formats of the game.
Suresh Raina has 5528 runs in 205 Indian Premier League games With 39 half-centuries and one century with a strike rate of 136.76.
