Bangladesh announced 17 Players Squad for Asia Cup 2022 and they appointed Shakib Al Hasan as their New T20I Captain till T20 Worldcup 2022.
Shakib Al Hasan will once again lead the Team. He will lead Bangladesh in Asia Cup 2022 later this month and also in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 at Australia in October -November.
Mahmudullah was removed from his positions after his poor performance and then they named Nurul Hasan as Captain for Zimbabwe Tour. But now Shakib Al Hasan will lead the Team. He will start his tenure in Asia Cup 2022 and then the Tri series Between Bangladesh, New Zealand and Pakistan and then he will lead the Team in Mega Event T20 World Cup 2022.
Shakib Al Hasan was also named as Test Captain recently after Mominul Haque resigned from his position.
Bangladesh also revealed their Squad for the Asia Cup 2022.
Star Batter Liton Daa was missing as he unable to recover from injury. But Some Important players like Shakib, Mushfiqur, Sabbir Rahman, Mohammed Saifuddin and Ebadot Hossain will strengthen the Team.

After Ten Month break Mohammed Saifuddin return into the Team. He last played for Bangladesh in T20 World Cup 2021 in UAE.
Sabbir Rahman also return to the Team he last played for Bangladesh in 2019 in T20 Format.
