Captain Rohit Sharma joined India’s first training session in Leicestershire ahead of the high-profile one-off Test against England National Cricket Team.
The larger part of the Indian Test squad individuals, counting the likes of Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj, Cheteshwar Pujara, Shubman Gill, Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur arrived in the United Kingdom on June 16.
Rohit Sharma-led India will be playing a 4-day practice match against Leicestershire from June 24 to 27 ahead of the first Test.
In the mean time, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared many photographs of the Indian Test team on Monday, in which captain Rohit Sharma was looking on as the group begun open air preparing in Leicestershire. Moreover, net bowler Kamlesh Nagarkoti was spotted preparing with the likes of Shardul Thakur and Jasprit Bumrah.
