The second innings was no different as bowlers yet again had their say and wickets fell pretty quickly. India bundled out South Africa for 176 runs and took just 36.5 overs to wrap up the innings. Aiden Markam looked the only settle batter as he slammed a century whereas Jasprit Bumrah picked 6 wickets.
India had a target of 79 runs to chase. Their batter came out with positive intent but still, some balls were unplayable. The pitch had demons in it as even in chase the visitors lost 3 wickets but managed to win the game and draw the series 1-1.
The second Test between India and South Africa ended in just 642 balls, which is the shortest span of a game in the longest format of the cricket. It raised a lot of eyebrows and even skipper Rohit Sharma was critical of the pitch.
