The final draft of all the players who will go under the hammer during the IPL 2024 auction has been released. A total of 333 players are part of IPL 2024 auction. Out of those, there are 214 Indian players and 119 overseas players.
IPL 2024 auction will take place in Dubai on December 19. There are 77 available slots across 10 IPL teams. Out of these, there are 30 slots for overseas players. Hence, there will be a narrow competition among players to get a deal during the IPL 2024 auction. There is no doubt that only the top players will get the biggest deals from each team and many will go unsold.
Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Chennai Super Kings have the most funds available in their salary caps. All these 4 teams have more than Rs. 30 crore left with them. Hence, these teams will have the maximum impact during the mini-auction.
KKR has the most vacant spots in their squad. The two-time champions can grab 12 more players, more than any other team. Interestingly, Sunrisers Hyderabad have Rs. 34 crores left in their kitty but they can only grab 6 more players. Hence, the 2016 champions will target strong players at a high price.
